Mr. Tedders’ Notes:

OHS Parent School Compact:

This compact will come home with students on Monday 9/27/18.  The development and sharing of the compact is a Title 1 requirement as part of our Parental and Family Engagement plan. The compact was developed with input from parents and OHS faculty and outlines the role of parents, students, and OHS faculty in ensuring student success.  Mr. Tedders has already signed the bottom on behalf of OHS staff.  We ask students to sign as well as parents in completing the compact.  Students should return the signed compacts to their homeroom (3rd pd) teacher.  All compacts should be returned no later than Friday, October 5.  Homerooms with a 100% return rate will receive a short break from class along with an ice cream treat once the return window is over.

Here are the videos of the segments included for the compact

Student and Staff Recognitions

Shout-out to Jason Anderson and Callyn Harvey for the work they put in to #BeBoldGoGold Week @ OHS.  The participation by the community in the T-shirt sales and the coordination of the PEP Rally was awesome.  It will be hard to match the atmosphere from the first PEP rally.

Thank you to all the staff who shared the videos and pictures to Facebook or with me for the week.  I use these to tell the story of the great things we do daily on this campus.  Continue to share and I will continue to put it out there.  “If we don’t tell our story, someone else will”
